Curiosity skilled this Kat.
I have always been fascinated by how people think, how we make decisions, and how we connect. That curiosity shapes the way I work. Long before I had language for design, I was asking questions, noticing patterns, and using stories to understand the world around me. Reading taught me to see stories. Writing taught me to tell them. Design became the place where both could live.
I approach my work with that same mindset: observant, thoughtful, and people-centered. I skate with a team and dance with a studio. I scrapbook with my family and illustrate while visiting at my local cafes. I love fantasy novels, fun little drinks, and my community. My interests and relationships sharpen how I see, how I listen, and how I create.
Since 2016, I have worked across the nonprofit, retail, wellness, travel, and pyrotechnics industries, collaborating with teams and adapting to a range of voices and audiences. I see design as both an art and a tool, helping people make informed choices, feel understood, and find connection. I am especially drawn to work that brings narrative and visuals together, shaping content into cohesive, engaging experiences across print and digital spaces.
I design with one overarching purpose: to help people promote, support, and celebrate community. Whether your audience is future clients, customers, teammates, or somewhere in between, I aim to help you find your people.
